<br />4. Award of Agreement(s) and Order Process <br /> <br />4.1 Agreement Awards <br /> <br />The City will select the number of Proposers necessary to ensure access to the range and <br />depth of technical specialties needed by the City. <br /> <br />4.2 Order Process <br /> <br />When a need for temporary technical contract services or consulting arises, the City may <br />contact any or all of the Vendors (those Proposers selected and awarded an agreement) <br /> <br />a. The City will provide the assignment details and necessary qualifications to the Vendor/s <br />and a point-of-contact for the assignment. <br /> <br />b. The City's point-of-contact is available to answer any questions a Vendor may have on <br />the assignment, the qualifications and experience/skill level needed, etc. <br /> <br />c. The Vendor/s will conduct its search, match, and qualify process (including technical <br />assessment, personality assessment, reference checks, etc) to identify qualified <br />potential candidates. <br /> <br />d. The Vendor will provide the City's point-of-contact with resumes of qualified potential <br />candidates. <br /> <br />e. The Vendor will provide the City's agreement manager with the proposed bill rate for <br />each potential candidate. <br /> <br />f. In the event that none of the Vendors can identify qualified candidates within ten (10) <br />working days, the position may be filled from the open market. <br /> <br />g. From the candidates offered by Vendor/s, the City may elect to conduct a telephone or <br />in-person interview with one or more of the potential candidate/so The City's point-of- <br />contact will get in touch with the Vendor to work out the arrangements. <br /> <br />h. The City will select the candidate whose skills and experience best matches the City's <br />needs and who has the lowest total cost to the City. <br /> <br />I. When the City has identified a candidate that it wishes to engage and has notified the <br />Vendor, the Vendor will conduct background checks, confirm candidate availability, <br />interest in the engagement and acceptance of the terms & conditions of an engagement <br />with the City. <br /> <br />j. Once the Vendor has completed the checks and confirmations, the Vendor will notify the <br />City and final details can be worked out. <br /> <br />k. The City agreement manager will send a confirming electronic mail message to the <br />Vendor as final confirmation of the engagement. <br /> <br />I. After a candidate has been accepted but prior to beginning the engagement, the Vendor <br />will inform the candidate on the standard of conduct required of those working with the <br /> <br />March 2007 <br /> <br />21 <br />
