Action steps undertaken included the following: <br />• Program monitoring: To ensure HUD compliance and assist <br />organizations in meeting their stated goals and objectives, CDA <br />staff is required to conduct on-site monitoring reviews of all CDBG <br />funded programs. Staff completed a total of 41 CDBG monitoring <br />visits this program year. The remaining organizations that were <br />not monitored in 2006-2007 and have received funding for 2007-2008, <br />will be monitored during 2007-2008. <br />• Review of year-end accomplishment reports and invoices: Per the <br />terms of their contractual agreement, CDBG sub-recipients were <br />required to submit year-end accomplishment reports and invoices to <br />CDA staff by July 15, 2007. <br />To date, all 47 of the CDBG public service grant sub-recipients have <br />submitted year-end accomplishment reports. <br />Exhibit A illustrates the total amount of Santa Ana residents served per <br />organization and total amount invoiced as of August 29, 2007.
