<br />2 <br />Mr. Amezcua requested a presentation of the Strike Force be made at a <br />community meeting and a televised Council meeting. The Committee was <br />very impressed and also wants the public to know the proactive efforts of <br />the Strike Force. <br />4. COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM <br />Councilmember Christy inquired how the public would be notified in case <br />of missile attack. Chief Garcia explained that the news media handles <br />alerts at this time. He stated that we are looking into a computer that calls <br />the public on their phones. The School District uses this type of system <br />now. Homeland Security Division is working on a system that would be a <br />countywide project. <br />5.
