<br />N-2006-041-01 <br /> <br />INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED <br />WORK MAY PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />DATE: <br />OCT 1 8 -2GD1 <br />0', Po\\c.e. / KoSco. \ (z.) <br />Lofi C10v.ln 4P' <br /> <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into this <br />29th day of June, 2007, by and between JAMES HAYES (hereinafter "Consultant"), and the City <br />of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br /> <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2006-041, dated May 10,2006, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement") by which Consultant has provided vehicle theft investigation classes for City <br />police investigators. <br /> <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to renew <br />said Agreement for an additional one-year term. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all <br />the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to <br />Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 2, COMPENSA nON, shall be increased by $2,000.00 to provide additional classes <br />during the extended term of said Agreement. <br /> <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be extended for an additional one-year term, through June 30, 2008. <br /> <br />3.
