<br />Indicate which of the 10 WIA elements the program will offer. <br /> <br />· Tutoring: study skills training and instruction, leading to completion of secondary <br />School, including dropout prevention strategies. <br />· Paid and Unpaid Work Experience, including internships and job shadowing. <br />· Occupational Skills Training (mandatory 8-weeks minimum). <br />· Leadership development, which includes community service and peer-centered <br />activities encouraging responsibility and other positive social behaviors during non- <br />school hours, as appropriate. <br />· Adult Mentoring for the period of participation and a subsequent period, for a <br />total of at least 12 months. <br />· Supportive Services (e.g. tools, books, clothing, bus passes, etc.) <br />· Follow-up services for minimum of 12-months after the completion of <br />participation as appropriate. <br /> <br />Indicate planned outcomes. <br />Program outcomes are as follows: <br /> <br />In School Younger Youth / Out of School Younger Youth ages 14-18: <br />1. 84.5% of participating in-school youth will attain a basic skill and, as <br />appropriate, work readiness or occupational skill. <br />2. 67% of participating in-school youth will attain a high school diploma or GED <br />3. 69.7% of participating in-school youth will receive placement and retention in <br />postsecondary education, advance training, military service, employment, or <br />qualified apprenticeships. <br />4. Customer Satisfaction Rate of at least 70%. <br /> <br />In School Older Youth / Out of School Older Youth ages 19-21: <br />1. 72.4% of participating out of school youth will gain entry into unsubsidized <br />employment. <br />2. 78.4% of participating out of school youth will achieve retention in unsubsidized <br />employment six months after entry into the employment; and <br />3. 39% of participating out of school youth will attain a recognized credential <br />relating to achievement of educational skills, which may include attainment of a high <br />school diploma or GED, or occupational skills, by participants who enter <br />unsubsidized employment. <br />4. Report an earnings gain of $3622 for appropriate participants. <br />5. Customer Satisfaction Rate of at least 70% <br />
