I. City Staff have identified the suite of programs within Southern California <br />Edison's Local Government Partnership Program as being consistent with the City's <br />customer service goals. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br />Section 2: That the City of Santa Ana supports a commitment to sustainable <br />practices through energy efficiency, and provides leadership and guidance in promoting, <br />facilitating, and instituting such practices in the community. <br />Section 3: That the City of Santa Ana supports and endorses the Local Government <br />Partnership as an effective method to help meet long-term community economic and <br />environmental goals. <br />Section 4: That the City of Santa Ana will provide special recognition to City <br />Agencies and local non-profits that utilize the programs encompassed by Southern <br />California Edison's Local Government Partnership. <br />That this Resolution shall be operative from and after November _, 2007. <br />ADOPTED this day of <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN <br />NOT PRESENT <br />Resolution No. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmembers <br />2007. <br />Miguel A.
