Approval of the <br />resolution allows St. Joseph's to participate in FEMA's nationally- <br />competitive program and authorizes City staff to file the PDM grant <br />applications on the Hospital's behalf. In January of 2007 the Santa Ana <br />City Council approved sponsorship of three FEMA PDM grant proposals on <br />behalf of St. Joseph's and two of the projects were successfully awarded <br />$3 million each. The South Building is the third of the three projects <br />originally proposed which is now being resubmitted for consideration. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />55D-2 <br />
