PERFORMANCE AUDIT CHECKLIST- TIME WARNER CABLE 2007 <br />Period from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2007 <br />Time Warner Cable has met programming requirements for annual year 2007 <br />• Number of programs produced as required by franchise agreement (turns <br />in on a monthly basis- 46 programs not including city council) <br />• Description of content of each production <br />• Screening of tapes for production quality. (Time Warner was responsive <br />to playback/DVD requests). <br />• Condition of videotape (Time Warner recycled tape and replaced when <br />old. Videotapes delivered to Master Control Room at City for final two <br />years of programming..) <br />• Number of cablecasts per production (Time Warner provided a monthly <br />program schedule and cablecast productions regularly with daily, weekly <br />and monthly replays.) <br />• Cablecast schedule and discrepancies (No programs were cablecast from <br />other sources without city permission.) <br />• Itemization of City programming vs. other sources of programming (based <br />on franchise requirements provided annual programming list with list of <br />stories covered in each program). <br />Minimum of Productions for each year per Settlement Agreement new franchise <br />beginning 2005. concluded Dec. 31 2007 <br />rrancnise proauctions: includes: 12 Santa Ana Nows a Y2 hour news - <br />styled magazine program with information about local stories and events. <br />• 2 Maior Events; such as the "Multi -Cultural & Black History Parade" and <br />"Fiestas Patrias." <br />• 10 Special Events; no less than 30 minutes <br />• 9 Special Programs; called Talk About Town (30 minutes) <br />• 13 Sports & Activities Shows; called Sports and Activities Scene of which <br />Four (4)_programs this year were dedicated to Adopt -A -Pet <br />Special Requirements for proper record keeping <br />• Time Warner sent monthly programming guides to the City <br />• Time Warner maintained daily programming logs and made logs available <br />upon request <br />• Time Warner will supply the names/addresses of employees/production <br />staff requiring City access <br />• Time Warner retained a copy of programs cablecast on CTV3 for a 2yr. <br />period and made dvd copies available to authorized City personnel <br />• Time Warner provided to City a monthly written summary report specifying <br />local programming production and activity. <br />
