EXHIBIT A <br />Greg Poma <br />3405 Ladrillo Aisle <br />Irvine, CA 92606 <br />October 11, 2007 <br />This proposal outlines estimated fees for server maintenance, software development, <br />and additional network - related troubleshooting services for the City of Santa Ana Water <br />District. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />1. Maintenance Procedures (Monthly) <br />a. Check server event logs. Document event items outside of normal <br />operation. <br />b. Verify server database backups have been completed successfully. <br />Document and troubleshoot all failed backup jobs. <br />c. Test Recovery of data from tapes. The first two Friday night backup jobs <br />from the previous month will be tested to ensure the data can be <br />recovered from them, if available at the time of the visit. <br />i. Work to correct failed backups will be billed at the normal hourly <br />rate and is not within the scope of the monthly maintenance <br />procedures <br />d. Check patch and service pack level of server. Install patches if possible <br />at the time of maintenance visit. If a subsequent visit is required to install <br />patches for any reason, it will be billed at the normal hourly rate. <br />e. Check server RAID controller and verify proper operation of all disks. <br />f. Prepare monthly summary report with backup status, event log, patches <br />applied, RAID status, and any other pertinent information. <br />2. Software Development <br />a. Development of a asset management system <br />i. Development of Database Schema to provide interoperability with <br />GIS mapping applications <br />ii. An application to provide automatic processing of CCTV <br />maintenance report data, with input into a SQL database. <br />iii. A web application to support each of the following tasks <br />1. View imported CCTV data in a consolidated view <br />2. View upcoming scheduled "hot spot' maintenance tasks <br />3. View "priority tasks ", as input by an operator input page <br />and based on prioritization provided by CCTV data. <br />3. Additional Service (Software Development, Installation and Support) <br />a. All labor beyond the scope of the Monthly Maintenance Procedures will <br />be completed at the rate of $125 per hour, with a 1 hour minimum. <br />b. Emergency requests with less than 24 hours lead time can be <br />accommodated at the rate of $150 per hour, with a 3 hour minimum <br />charge. <br />
