Each
participant will meet at least once a week with the literacy instructor to learn a variety of
literacy strategies. These strategies \\ill help them enhance their 0\'.'11 literacy skills. as well
as how to help other younger students in an educational setting. The Career Counselor will
also help students by helping them determine their academic/educational goals and help
guide them.

The work, performance levels and progress of each WIA participant will be
monitored on a regular basis by our key staff. The key staff for his program (case
manager, counselor, arts/technology and literacy instructors) will meet bi-monthly to
discuss and refine existing programs and services for each student.
