Salyer <br />for the structure located at 2450 North Riverside Drive. <br /> <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />Recommended that the City Council direct the City Attorney to prepare and <br />authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an <br />agreement with Adrienne M. Salyer for the structure located at 2450 North <br />Riverside Drive at its November 1, 2007 meeting by a vote of 7:0 <br />(O'Callaghan abstained, Bustamante absent). <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />After the public hearing on November 1, 2007, the Historic Resources <br />Commission reviewed the proposed Historic Property Preservation Agreement <br />(Mills Act Contract) and concluded that the resulting potential property <br />tax savings would encourage the owner to reinvest the tax savings in the <br />maintenance of their historic property, and would benefit both the owner <br />and the community (Exhibit A). Addi tionally, the agreement prevents <br />inappropriate alterations. <br /> <br />25G-1 <br />
