Public hearings: Planning Commission in 1st quarter of 2008 and City <br />Council in 2nd quarter of 2008 <br /> <br />During the presentation Councilmembers asked staff several questions <br />and noted that there was some concern in the community that <br />the Renaissance Plan is a redevelopment plan and that the City would <br />contemplate condemnations. Mr. Trevino confirmed that the plan does not <br />contemplate any condemnations and it is not a redevelopment plan. <br /> <br />Councilmember Benavides asked to see the questions asked at the <br />meeting at S1. Joseph's Church along with feedback and comments. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Alvarez asked staff to put the plan on the City's website <br />and, if possible, allow residents to ask questions on line. <br /> <br />Discussion continued and members commented that they would like to <br />see more specifics in the plan so that they can more adequately address <br />priorities.
