The City entered into an Agreement with Consultant on January 17, 2006, ("the <br />Agreement") to provide support services to complete the Santa Ana Transit <br />Master Plan. <br />B. City needs further support services to conduct the Metrolink extension studies <br />that will meet the various Federal transit agencies' guidelines in order to <br />complete Step One of the "Go Local Program" with the Orange County <br />Transportation Authority. <br />C. The parties hereto now desire to amend the Agreement in order for Consultant <br />to perform additional services for the City, add additional funding and extend <br />the term. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and <br />subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. The "Scope of Services" term of the Agreement will be expanded and updated to <br />allow Consultant Yo conduct the City-Initiated Transit Extensions to the Metrolink <br />Studies as further set forth in Exhibit A-1 attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />2. The "Compensation" term of the Agreement will be increased with additional funding <br />not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00). <br />3. The "Term" of the Agreement shall be extended through March 31, 2009 <br />4. The above changes are the only changes to the Agreement, and all other terms and <br />conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged. <br />
