Adopt a resolution authorizing the Executive Director of the Public <br />Works Agency to submit projects for funding consideration under the <br />Measure M Combined Transportation Funding Programs. <br />2. Direct staff to amend the seven-year Capital Improvement Program to <br />incorporate the Combined Transportation Funding Programs projects list. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has issued a final call <br />for projects under the current Measure M Combined Transportation Funding <br />Programs (CTFP) for FY 08/09 through FY 10/11. Funding in the amount of <br />$40.9 million is available countywide in four different funding program <br />areas. The CTFP programs designated for funding are: Intersection <br />Improvement Program (ITP), Signal Improvement Program (SIP), <br />Transportation Demand Management (TDM), and Growth Management Area (GMA). <br />The City of Santa Ana will be submitting nine applications totaling $13.55 <br />million in grant fund requests.
