Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $2,634,500. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This is the first project of the $100 million investment to rebuild <br />neighborhood streets throughout the City. Segments of local streets <br />located within the Delhi and Willard Neighborhoods have been identified <br />as a high priority for rehabilitation in the City's pavement management <br />system (Exhibit 1). The pavement is deteriorating due to weather, age and <br />heavy usage. Some of the adjacent curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross <br />gutters and wheelchair ramps are also in various states of disrepair and <br />require replacement. <br />This project provides for recycling of existing asphalt pavement with the <br />cold-in-place process, construction of asphalt concrete overlay, <br />replacement of damaged concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and curb <br />ramps. Bid alternate one provides for re-establishing the survey <br />monuments for both neighborhoods. Once completed, these improvements <br />will enhance the ride quality, surface drainage and visual appearance of <br />the neighborhoods. <br />23A-1 <br />bidder, in accordance with <br />in the estimated amount <br />Neighborhood Improvements. <br />
