ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING <br />MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 14, 2007 <br />MINOR EXCEPTION NO. 2007-04 <br />10:44 a.m. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall <br />Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. <br />Also in attendance were: Gaetano Belcore, Applicant; Carol Purvis and Kim Cordova, <br />Plumfield School; Vince Fregoso, Senior Planner; Lorena Penaloza, City Attorney; and <br />Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. <br />Vince Fregoso presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />One electronic mail message was received from Gail Price in opposition to the project. <br />Carol Purvis and Kim Cordova stated parking and access concerns. Discussion <br />continued regarding parking. Mr. Klotz stated that the submittal of an unbiased parking <br />study has consistently been provided with all parking waivers. Additionally, he <br />expressed that with shared parking a more pedestrian friendly design should be <br />accommodated. <br />Mr. Klotz explained the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission process. Mr. <br />Fregoso noted that variances for setback and parking is scheduled for Planning <br />Commission action on November 26, 2007. The Zoning Administrator recommended <br />that the minor exception and variance project be reviewed and heard at one time <br />because the actions are related, of special interest to the people of the City and the <br />Planning Commission, and that a professional parking study be provided. <br />The Zoning Administrator continued Minor Exception No. 2007-04 to the November 26, <br />2007 Planning Commission meeting. <br />The hearing adjourned at 11:24 a.m. <br />~~ <br />r <br />Jocelyn galona <br />Recording Secretary <br />mrizoning administrationlminutes12007\11-14-07 me07-04 <br />31C-36 <br />
