FUNDING ALLOCATIONS FOR THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND <br />URBAN DEVELOPMENT HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH <br />AIDS PROGRAM FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 <br />Recommended action approved by the Community Redevelopment and <br />Housing Commission by a vote of 6:0 (Yanez absent) at its Regular <br />Meeting of June 20, 2006. <br />CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Recommended Action: <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement between the <br />City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority of the City of Santa <br />Ana, in the amount of $550,000 for the implementation of the <br />Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program. <br />2. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager <br />and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the <br />County of Orange Health Care Agency in the amount of $789,000 to <br />continue to provide supportive housing services to HIV/AIDS <br />individuals in the County of Orange. <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY ACTION: <br />Recommended Action: <br />Direct the Authority general Counsel to prepare and authorize the <br />Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute an <br />agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the Housing <br />Authority of the City of Santa Ana, in the amount of $550,000 for the <br />implementation of the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program. <br />Direct the General Counsel to prepare and authorize the Executive <br />Director of the Housing Authority to execute an agreement with the <br />AIDS Service Foundation Orange County in an amount not to <br />exceed $12,000 to administer the wait list for the Tenant-Based <br />Rental Assistance program. <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY AGENDA 4 JULY 3, 2006 <br />
