• '~ ~ Page i of 2 <br />'~ vPl'ls8 SOFTWARE USE LICENSE <br />LICENSEE: Orange County Fire Authority <br />NOTICE: <br />GeoPrise licenses the GeoPrise.NET software to Licensee (you) only upon the condition that you <br />accept all of the terms contained in this license agreement. Please read the terms carefully before <br />signing, as your signature will indicate your assent to them. If you do not agree to these terms, <br />GeoPrise is unwilling to license the software to you, in which event you should return the full product <br />immediately to GeoPrise. <br />LICENSE AND WARRANTY: ----- <br />The software which accompanies this license (the "Software") is the property of GeoPrise or its <br />licensers and is protected by copyright law. While GeoPrise continues to own the Software, you will <br />have certain rights to use the Software after your acceptance of this license. Except as may be <br />modified by a license addendum which accompanies this license, your rights and obligations with <br />respect to the use of this Software are as follows: <br />YOU MAY: <br />(i) use one copy of the Software on a single computer or two copies for amulti-server configuration; <br />and one additional use for a development computer. <br />(ii) make one copy of the Software for archival purposes; Additionally, Licensee may make routine <br />computer backups of the Software and Documentation. <br />(iii) use the Software on your organization's internal network, provided that you have a licensed copy <br />of the Software for each computer that the Software resides on; <br />(iv) provide application access <br />supporting the Orange County <br />and recovery activities. <br />YOU-MAY°NOT: <br />to external government agencies and private organizations directly <br />Regional Public Safety program for emergency, planning, response, <br /> <br />(i) copy the documentation which accompanies the Software; <br />(ii) sell, transfer, sublicense, redistribute, lend, assign, time-share, rent or lease any portion of the <br />Software; <br />(iii) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, translate, make any attempt to discover the <br />source code of the Software, or create derivative works from the Software; or <br />(iv) use a previous version or copy of the Software after you have received a disk replacement set or <br />an upgraded version as a replacement of the prior version, all copies of the prior version must be <br />destroyed. <br />(v) act as a service bureau or Application Service Provider (ASP) that allows third party user access to <br />the Software, or Documentation, with exception of item (iv) in the You MAY section of this <br />document. <br />
