The purchase included an extended factory warranty and a <br />three-year preventive maintenance contract. The vendor has agreed to <br />extend the factory warranty and renew the maintenance contract for an <br />additional two-year period for $23,375. <br />Additionally, ZOLL provides defibrillator supplies, including paddles, <br />cables and batteries. The purchase of the extended warranty and <br />maintenance contract, when added to the vendor's fiscal purchases, will <br />exceed the $25,000 aggregate limit. To facilitate future purchases, staff <br />recommends an increase to the aggregate limit. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Fire Suppression Emergency Medical Services <br />account (no. 11-323-6291). <br />~~~~ <br />Marc E.
