Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2006-08 as <br />conditioned. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Request of Applicant <br />Jane Norine, representing Sprint PCS, and Jason Kozora, representing T- <br />Mobile, are requesting approval of a zone change from Single-Family <br />Residential (R-1) to Arterial Commercial (C-5) and a conditional use <br />permit to construct a 60-foot tall cellular monopine at 2210 North Grand <br />Avenue. <br />Property Description <br />The subject property is approximately 1.57 acres in size, square in <br />shape and improved as an electrical sub-station for Southern California <br />Edison. The property is currently zoned Single-Family Residential (R-1) <br />and has a General Plan land use designation of General Commercial (GC). <br />The property is bounded by commercial uses to the south and east, <br />residential uses to the west, and commercial and residential uses to the <br />north (Exhibits 1 and 2). <br />EXHIBIT A <br />75A-2 <br />
