<br />)NOTICE IS HEREBY OIYEN that the Community Redevelopment and Housingg Com- I
<br />mission of the City of Septa Ana will hold a public hearing on April 15, 2008, at 8 PM, at the
<br />C@y Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, Cal'rfomra 92701, pursuant to the
<br />submission of the City's proposed 2008.2009.
<br />The 2008-2009 Action Plan is prepared in compkance with federal regWations [24 CFR 91].
<br />The Action Plan delineates proposed activities to be funded under the U.S. Department oT
<br />Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Developmem Block Grant (CDBG),
<br />HOME Investment Partnerships Act ((HOME), American Dream Down Paymem Initiative
<br />(ADDI), Emergency Sheffer Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons wdh AIDS
<br />(HOPWA). The Cily is eligible to receive program funding ffor FY 2008.2009 as follows:

<br />In add'Rion to these resources, the City may utilze program income received in prior years

<br />grant funds will also be used for the activities listed below.
<br />The public hearing, preparation of the draft Action Plan, and 30-day public comment peri-
<br />od meet the statutory requiramenls for planning and application for federal Tunds under the
<br />CDBG, HOME, ESG, and HOPWA Programs.

<br />'The 30-day public comment period for the 2008.2009 Action Plan wilt commence on March
<br />15, 2008 end will end at noon on April 14, 2008. The draft plan shall t>a available for public
<br />inspection during regular business hours between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday
<br />through Friday in the offices of the Housing Department, 20 Civic Center Plaza, 3rd Floor,
<br />Community Development AAppertcy, 20 Civic Center PIe7a, 6th floor, Office of the Clerk of
<br />the Counctl, 20 Civic Centerplaza, Room 809, and the Main Public Library, 26 Civic Center
<br />Plaza, Santa Ana, Cal'Ifomia. Written comments on the plan may be submitted to the Hous-
<br />ing Division an or before noon on Appril 14, 2008.

<br />This also serves es notice that the City of Santa Ana has chosen to utilize the uncapppped
<br />80% household median income standard to quality participants for CDBG and HOME fund-
<br />ed programs. The uncapped income standard is revised annually. The current uncapped
<br />income standards are for the year 2008 and are subject to revision by HUD:
