L EXHIBIT A The Consultant's services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: AERIAL MAPPING 1. The width of the topography should be 300 feet centered with the street centerline. The topography should cover 200 feet past the extreme ends of the project limits. 2. The Aerial Photography should show all planimetric features. 3. Street area between property lines shall be field edited. 4. Final map shall be 1"=20' with grid ticks at 5" intervals. 5. The map accuracy shall exceed National Map Standards. 6. Incorporate topographic symbols from symbol library for mapping as provided by the City. 7. Provide electronic files in Microstation V8 format. All line work to conform to master file element parameters per the City of Santa Ana CADD Standards. 8. Provide for the City's review a preliminary map before field edits. 9. Attend meetings with City's staff as required. 10. Coordinate with City's Senior Land Surveyor as required. Contact prior to commencement of work. 11. Provide enhanced orthophotos in ecw format if requested. SURVEY SERVICES 1. Provide survey services as requested. A detailed scope of work will be outlined when specific project is assigned to the consultant. Services shall include, but are not limited to, cross-sections, intersection grids, centerline determination, digital terrain models (.dtm), right of way determination, and the preparation of legal descriptions with exhibits. 2. Generate a computer drawing in Microstation V8 format showing survey per the City of Santa Ana CADD Standards as well as the sample survey drawing on the City of Santa Ana website listed in Section 4, below. 3. All survey needs to be prepared to the satisfaction of the City's Senior Surveyor and meet the following standards: • Horizontal control shall be based on the 1983 North American Datum (NAD83), tied to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange, CCS83, Zone VI, 1991.35 Epoch Adjustment control points. Project coordinate values shall be provided in U.S. Survey Feet. The County control points shall determine the Basis of Bearing for the project. • Vertical control shall be based on the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88), tied to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange bench marks. Project elevations shall be provide in U.S. Survey Feet. • Horizontal alignment(s) for the project shall be tied to the survey centerline monuments within the project area. • With the coordinate values, a full location and detailed description, including point character with reference(s), shall be provided for all found and set monuments for the project. For this purpose, a sketch of the control network is required. 9
