L <br />EXHIBIT A <br />The Consultant's services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />AERIAL MAPPING <br />1. The width of the topography should be 300 feet centered with the street centerline. The <br />topography should cover 200 feet past the extreme ends of the project limits. <br />2. The Aerial Photography should show all planimetric features. <br />3. Street area between property lines shall be field edited. <br />4. Final map shall be 1"=20' with grid ticks at 5" intervals. <br />5. The map accuracy shall exceed National Map Standards. <br />6. Incorporate topographic symbols from symbol library for mapping as provided by the City. <br />7. Provide electronic files in Microstation V8 format. All line work to conform to master file <br />element parameters per the City of Santa Ana CADD Standards. <br />8. Provide for the City's review a preliminary map before field edits. <br />9. Attend meetings with City's staff as required. <br />10. Coordinate with City's Senior Land Surveyor as required. Contact prior to commencement <br />of work. <br />11. Provide enhanced orthophotos in ecw format if requested. <br />SURVEY SERVICES <br />1. Provide survey services as requested. A detailed scope of work will be outlined when <br />specific project is assigned to the consultant. Services shall include, but are not limited to, <br />cross-sections, intersection grids, centerline determination, digital terrain models (.dtm), <br />right of way determination, and the preparation of legal descriptions with exhibits. <br />2. Generate a computer drawing in Microstation V8 format showing survey per the City of <br />Santa Ana CADD Standards as well as the sample survey drawing on the City of Santa Ana <br />website listed in Section 4, below. <br />3. All survey needs to be prepared to the satisfaction of the City's Senior Surveyor and meet <br />the following standards: <br />• Horizontal control shall be based on the 1983 North American Datum (NAD83), tied <br />to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange, CCS83, Zone VI, 1991.35 Epoch <br />Adjustment control points. Project coordinate values shall be provided in U.S. <br />Survey Feet. The County control points shall determine the Basis of Bearing for the <br />project. <br />• Vertical control shall be based on the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 <br />(NAVD88), tied to a minimum of two proximate County of Orange bench marks. <br />Project elevations shall be provide in U.S. Survey Feet. <br />• Horizontal alignment(s) for the project shall be tied to the survey centerline <br />monuments within the project area. <br />• With the coordinate values, a full location and detailed description, including point <br />character with reference(s), shall be provided for all found and set monuments for the <br />project. For this purpose, a sketch of the control network is required. <br />9
