COMMENTS <br />The SAEC Design Team Charter <br />SAEC Design Team Meeting 10/9/07 -Involvement Strategy <br />subcommittee potential invitees list <br />The timeline for the formal invitation letter and RSVP <br />BOARD TASK FORCE REPORTS <br />Education Task Force <br />Director Hernandez reported that the English Literacy RFP process is underway with 4 <br />organizations in attendance at the proposer's conference. A special meeting will be <br />held for the proposals' presentation, review and recommendation to the SAEC Board. <br />Sustainabilitv Design Team Ad Hoc <br />Director E. Martinez informed the Board that presentation by Greg Fitzgerald of Vision <br />Works this evening provided the update on the Sustainability Project. <br />Education/Marketing Ad Hoc <br />Director Hernandez updated the Board on the progress of the Educational Campaign. <br />The Ad-Hoc Task Force met with Santa Ana College on November 15, 2007 to develop <br />both a message and a logo for the campaign. They will meet in December to finalize <br />the message and the logo. <br />COMMENTS <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS -None <br />STAFF MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Lorena Penazola General Counsel <br />Announced that she has accepted a position with the Cal-State Long <br />Beach Chancellor's Office and will be resigning from the City of Santa Ana <br />effective December 21, 2007. <br />BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Director Alvarez <br />Announced that this would be his last meeting and he would be submitting <br />his resignation due to relocating to Arizona. <br />Director Revna <br />Invited everyone to the YMCA Youth & Government Program event on <br />December 12, 2007, 6:00 p.m. City of Santa Ana Council Chambers. <br />SAEC MINUTES 4 NOVEMBER 28, 2007 <br />
