Loan funds will be used for first time homebuyer <br />mortgage assistance, as well as to correct unsafe, unhealthy or unsanitary conditions in <br />both single-family homes and mobile homes. The grant would also be used to fund the <br />Replacement Manufactured Housing component of the City's existing program. <br />Section 3. If the application for funding is approved, the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby agrees to use the CalHome funds for eligible activities in the manner presented <br />in the application as approved by HCD and in accordance with program guidelines cited <br />above. It also may execute any and all other instruments necessary or required by <br />HCD for participation in the CalHome Program. <br />Section 4. The City of Santa Ana authorizes the City Manager to execute in <br />the name of the City of Santa Ana, the application, the Standard Agreement, and all <br />other documents required by HCD for participation in the CalHome Program, and any <br />amendments thereto. <br />ADOPTED this 2"d day of June, 2008. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Joseph W.
