Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by the <br />funded pro ram, named above, during the 12 -month contract period. <br />225 Persons <br />ll. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewapie space will print. <br />Type in description here. <br />Our boxing program serves as an alternative to gang membership and drug use. Our cost-free, after school <br />program, run strictly by an all -volunteer staff, is offered to boys and girls ages 8 to 18. TKO members are taught <br />boxing and exercise skills as well as proper nutrition to avoid obesity. Our main objective is to encourage all TKO <br />members to excel academically. Their grades and school behavior are monitored. <br />Those boxers who have excelled in their boxing skills, as well as kept their grades at a C or better level, are taken <br />to competitions/tournaments in other states. <br />TKO members have won 30+ national and international championships. <br />Schedule of Performace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 - <br />month contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
