<br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 151 day of July, 2008, by and between the Mercy House <br />Transitional Living Centers, Inc., a California non-profit corporation ("Subrecipient"), and the City of Santa Ana, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws ofthe State of <br />California ("City"). <br /> <br />R.E.cIIA1~ <br />A. The City and Subrecipient entered into that certain "Agreement Between The City of Santa Ana and Mercy <br />House Transitional Living Centers, Inc. for Use of Community Development Block Grant Funds" ("CDBG <br />Agreement" all terms and conditions incorporated herein by reference) dated July 1,2007, to use $10,000.00 in <br />CDBG funding for the programs at the Joseph House, Regina House and Emmanuel House. <br /> <br />B. The parties hereto now desire to amend the grant amount of the CDBG Agreement <br /> <br />C. Subrecipient may also amend its Scope of Work attached as Exhibit A hereto. <br /> <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said CDBG Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto <br />do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. The "Amount of Grant and Quarterly Disbursement" shall be amended to include an additional <br />$10,000 for total Grant Amount not to exceed $20,000 in order to serve the revised Scope of Work (Exhibit A) <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, all of the terms and conditions of said CDBG Agreement remain <br />unchanged and in full force and effect. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to said CDBG Agreement the date <br />and year first above written. <br /> <br />A TIEST: <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />Patricia E.
