Healy <br />This is to inform the general public that. the City of Santa Ana proposes to adopt a <br />Negative Declaration for the following project: <br />Project Title: Commonwealth Audi Automobile Dealership <br />Project Description: The proposed project consists of the new construction and renovation of an <br />existing 17,630 square foot auto dealership and related parking and landscaping on a 2.6 acre site within the <br />existing 50 acre Santa Ana Auto Mall (SD-60). The project will add approximately 23,510 square feet of new <br />space consisting of the expansion of service bays, showroom, office, pre-owned sales, mezzanine and <br />canopy areas. The project will provide the required 116 parking spaces and meet the landscape and <br />development standards for the SD-60 zone. The project requires Site Plan Review approval by the Planning <br />Commission because it is located within a Specific Development zone (SD-60). The expansion of the auto <br />dealership is consistent with the Industrial land use designation of the City's General Plan and meets or <br />exceeds the City's design and development standards for SD-60 which governs development within the <br />Santa Ana Auto Mall. <br />Project Location: 1425 Auto Mall Drive <br />Project Number: SPR 2008-3, DP 2007-16, ER 2007-60, MID 2007-74922 <br />Public Review Period: May 7, 2008 to May 28, 2008 <br />Hearing Date: June 9, 2008 <br />Hearing Location: City of Santa Ana Ross Annex, Rm. 1600, Civic Center Plaza <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Initial Study as well as all referenced documents will be available for <br />public review at the City of Santa Ana Planning and Building Agency located at 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa <br />Ana, California.
