C TAR --111e ~,P~-1- `~'I <br />SECOND RENEWAL OPTION TO <br />CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br />A-2008-098 <br />C~~~ol~~ ~l~~h <br />THIS SECOND RENEWAL OPTION TO CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE <br />AGREEMENT is take effect on July 1, 2008, by and between Pacific Building Care, Inc. <br />("Contractor") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the <br />State of California ("City"}, <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement A-2005-118, dated June 15, 2005 (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which Contractor has provided custodial services for the Santa <br />Ana Regional Transportation Center (formerly "The Depot at Santa Ana"). The first <br />renewal option was exercised on June 16, 2007. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties now wish <br />to exercise the second one year option period to extend the Agreement and increase <br />the Compensation term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement as amended and those amended <br />in this Second Renewal Option, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 1, SCOPE OF SERVICES, shall be amended to read, in full, as follows: <br />"Contractor shall perform those services as set forth in Exhibit A, attached to said <br />Agreement. Contractor shall add the services of one additional janitor at the Santa <br />Ana Regional Transportation Center." <br />2. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to read, in full, as follows: <br />"City agrees to pay, and Contractor agrees to accept as total payment for its services, <br />a monthly fee of $12,089.55. Additional services, as set forth in Section 1, above, <br />shall be paid at the rates and charges set forth in Contractor's Official Bid <br />Proposal/Specifications, attached to said Agreement as Attachment G. The total sum <br />to be expended under this Agreement shall not exceed $150,000.00 during the <br />remaining option term through June 30`h, 2009." <br />3. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />// <br />
