INSURANCE ON FILE <br />WORK MAY PRpCEEC <br />UNTIL INSURANCE EXPIRES <br />io - ~- 08 <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL _ <br />nnTF~ JUL $ ~~~~ <br />~ -, FIRST AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT <br />A-2008-097-01 <br />o a~~~ n (F-~~~cc~l) -~~ <br />Cl.cr, ~jlci,;r fcr laedry J~-/rc,+L~ <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO GRANT AGREEMENT is entered into on June <br />26, 2008, by and between Community Service Programs, a California non-profit <br />corporation ("CSP") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement A-2008-097, dated June 2, 2008, (hereinafter <br />"said Agreement") by which CSP has operated a domestic violence victim advocacy <br />program. <br />B. The Parties intended said Agreement to provide continuous uninterrupted service for <br />the domestic violence victim advocacy program, commencing January 1, 2008. <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />amend said Agreement to correspond to their agreement regarding the term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />First Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 4, DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS, shall be amended as follows: <br />a. Section 4.A. shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: <br />"A. DVVA funds shall be expended within a time period not exceeding one (1) year <br />from commencement of services pursuant to this AGREEMENT. Disbursements <br />shall be available for services completed between January 1, 2008 and December <br />31, 2008." <br />b. Section 4.C. shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: <br />"C. SUBGRANTEE agrees to submit requests for disbursement fifteen (15) <br />days after the end of each calendar quarter during the term of the AGREEMENT. <br />The dates for the requests for disbursement are: <br />1. January 1, 2008 through March 31, 2008 <br />2. April 1, 2008 through June 30, 2008 <br />3. July 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008 <br />4. October 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 <br />Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />
