JOINT SESSION <br />CITY COUNCIL /COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />7. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT -CONTRACT AWARD FOR FOURTH <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS (PROJECT NO. 07-8053) <br />Recommended Action: <br />CITY COUNCIL ACTIONS: <br />1. Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing $300,000 from the <br />Downtown Santa Ana Business Improvement District and <br />appropriating the same. <br />2. Award a contract to Elite Bobcat Service, the lowest responsible <br />bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices in the estimated amount <br />of $1,994,243.60 for construction of Fourth Street Improvements. <br />3. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction <br />cost of $2,492,800. <br />4. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the <br />attached Cooperative Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and <br />the Community Redevelopment Agency for the Fourth Street <br />Improvement Project (Phase II) in the amount of $699,000, subject to <br />non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ACTION <br />Authorize the Executive Director and Agency Secretary to execute the <br />attached Cooperative Agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the <br />Community Redevelopment Agency for the Fourth Street Improvement <br />Project (Phase II) in the amount of $699,000, subject to non-substantive <br />changes approved by the Executive Director and Agency General <br />Counsel. <br />COMMENTS <br />8. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />AT THIS TIME the members of the public may address the Community <br />Redevelopment Agency board members regarding any non-agenda items within <br />the subject matter jurisdiction of the Agency.
