<br />These resources are further enhanced by MBA's extensive library of business, relational database, file management,
<br />budgeting, project tracking, and word processing software. MBA provides a variety of data output, including printed
<br />copy, electronic transmittal via fax, e-mail, or CD. In addition, MBA offers our clients Web design and geographic
<br />information systems (GIS) services, color printer access, and 11 x 17-inch printing capabilities. Software includes all
<br />current Windows, GIS, CAD, and Web design applications. Maintaining in-house GIS, graphics, and Web design services
<br />allows MBA to provide our clients with a cost-effective alternative to the costly delays inherent in out -sourced support.
<br />Report Production and Graphics Capabilities
<br />MBA's corporate report production facilities consist of a Publications department inclusive of word processing, editorial,
<br />graphics, and reprographics staff. MBA's production staff uses industry -standard versions of Windows, Microsoft Office
<br />that includes MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point software. MBA staff members are equipped with PCs and are
<br />linked to a company -wide network to facilitate immediate file exchange. Our Graphics department is staffed with highly
<br />skilled graphic designers to produce computer -generated cartography, artwork, and other graphics. Our graphic
<br />designers are able to generate artwork in illustration, slides, and page layout using software programs such as Adobe
<br />Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Core] Draw. To complement our high-tech electronic publishing system, the Graphics
<br />department provides traditional full -service production art capabilities for oversize maps, brochures, and landscape
<br />design, as well as producing in-house, high -quality color printing. All of these facilities, computers, and capabilities are
<br />used to produce all project graphics. MBA also maintains a complete in-house reprographics department using Oce
<br />systems, along with a variety of automated binding options, photo -quality color printing, and laminating for professional
<br />in-house report production, and a mass duplicator for CD production.
<br />Reference Library
<br />MBA maintains an in-house reference library to assist project staff. The main corporate library holds thousands of titles
<br />cataloged on a microcomputer database to allow staff to quickly search for information by subject, title, title words,
<br />geographic location, report number, and other parameters. Numerous government reports and hard -to -find local
<br />planning documents are in the collection, including examples of environmental impact studies done by MBA and
<br />others. The library also receives over 200 journals, newsletters, and other periodicals and maintains updated copies of
<br />appropriate regulations.
