ON FILE <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL, <br />DATE: ~-~3-o~S <br />Q~, Po~i~~~~ <br />SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />N_2002-048-04 <br />Unr i5 La-ug4~ ~ `' THIS SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered <br />into on June 3Q 2008, by and between DANIEL ACHATZ ("Consultant") and the City <br />of Santa Ana ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Consultant Agreement N-2002-048, dated February 28, 2002, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided counseling and <br />instructional services to the inmates at the Santa Ana Ciry Jail. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />renew said Agreement for an additional one-year period and to increase compensation <br />to pay for services during the extended term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, as previously amended, except <br />those amended in this Seventh Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as <br />follows: <br />1. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation by <br />$10,000 to pay for services during the 2008-09 fiscal year. <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date one year, from <br />June 30, 2008 through June 3Q 2009, <br />3. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement, as previously <br />amended, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />// <br />// <br />/1 <br />// <br />// <br />
