INSURANCE NOT REQUIRED N- 2006 - 107 -02 WORK MAY PROCEED CLERK OF COUNCIL DATE; o' tool ��i SECOND AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT L1�r,s Lcw�c� THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into on June 30, 2008, by and between FELICE STINSON ( "Consultant ") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ( "City "). RECITALS: A. The parties entered into Agreement N- 2006 -107, dated October 2, 2006 (hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided educational counseling and instructional services for inmates at the Santa Ana Detention Facility. B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend said Agreement for an additional one -year term and increase compensation to pay for services during the extended term. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Second Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows: 1. Section 2.a., COMPENSATION, shall be increased to provide $10,000.00 for services during the 2008 -2009 fiscal year. 2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date through June 30, 2009. 3. Section S, INSURANCE, shall be amended to delete Paragraph a. Due to the nature of services provided, Commercial General Liability insurance is not required.
