She has assisted both public and private clients in <br />the development and geoprocessing of GIS coverages, including overlay analyses of soil, vegetation, <br />and watersheds, and county -wide digital floodplain layers. <br />5.2 SUBCONSULTANTS. Though our breadth of expertise allows us to perform most of the <br />tasks necessary for the preparation of environmental documents in-house, Rincon works with various <br />subconsultants to provide additional expertise on discrete topics. The most topics for which we most <br />commonly retain subconsultants are traffic/circulation and cultural (historic and archaeological) <br />resources. We work with a number of geotechnical and civil engineering firms that could <br />be retained for such assignments and would determine the appropriate firms for individual projects in <br />coordination with the City. <br />6.3 REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />rnylrUJUXICLILal c.�����- -- --- _ <br />Los Angeles County Community Development Commission, Donald Dean, Environmental Officer, one: <br />3231890-7186 <br />Rincon Consultants is currently in the second year of its third consecutive three year contract to <br />provide as needed CEQA/NEPA documentation and consulting services to the Los Angeles <br />Community Development Commission. Stephen Svete, AICP and Joe Power, AICP, have managed the <br />preparation of all NEPA-required environmental documentation for projects proposed under the <br />CDBG Program within unincorporated Los Angeles County and 48 cooperating cities within the <br />county during this time frame. CEQA-required documentation was also prepared for those projects <br />located within the unincorporated area. The environmental assessments followed the U.S. Housing <br />and Urban Development short form methodology, which allowed for rapid assessment of <br />environmental issues and processing of the documents.
