IFirm and Personnel Experience —Page 1-3
Our approach to assisting our clients with
environmental documentation and permitting
issues includes several key elements:
• Coordinating with the client to gain a
thorough understanding of project elements
and objectives.
• Identifying and describing the resources that
could be directly or indirectly affected,
assessing potential impacts, and identifying
applicable regulations and possible permit
requirements. This would include
consideration of all potential permanent and
temporary impacts.
• Determining whether alternative designs,
materials, or construction methods are
available so that impacts to jurisdictional
resources are minimized or avoided.
• Considering alternative permitting strategies
and mitigation options.
• Providing services to assist in obtaining
authorizations from regulatory agencies.
This process requires frequent coordination with
the client project manager and often involves
collaboration with planners and designers to
modify project elements consistent with project
objectives and in consideration of regulatory
constraints. The focus of the process is primarily
to avoid the need to undertake costly mitigation
efforts or comply with excessively restrictive
permit conditions as much as feasible. In the
event mitigation is needed, P&D will work closely
with the County in developing on -site and off -site
options and detail the benefits and costs prior to
moving forward with negotiations with the
regulatory agencies.
P&D Consultants TCB AECOM
f://03521005.30.01 City of Santa Ana Environmental Consultants
