• Administrator: Government official, employee or agency responsible for the day-to-day

<br /> coordination, implementation,monitoring and evaluation.
<br /> • Application program interface (API): A set of functions and procedures allowing the
<br /> creation of applications that access the features or data of an operating system, application,
<br /> or other service.
<br /> • Coding Accuracy Support System(CASS): Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) is
<br /> a certification system from the United States Postal Service(LISPS)for address validation.
<br /> • Cyber-protection:The prevention of damage to,unauthorized use of,or exploitation of,and,
<br /> if needed, the restoration of electronic information and communications systems and the
<br /> information contained therein to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Includes
<br /> protection and restoration, when needed, of information networks and wireline, wireless,
<br /> satellite, public safoty answering points, and 911 communications systems and control
<br /> systems.
<br /> • Data: Any information, algorithms, or other content that the County, the County's
<br /> employees,agents and end users upload,create or modify using the goods/services pursuant
<br /> to this Contract, including but not limited to email addresses,telephone numbers, and geo-
<br /> coded E911 data. Data also includes user identification information and metadata whichinay
<br /> contain Data or from which the County's Data may be ascertainable, Personal Data shall
<br /> include personal information,as defined by Civil Code Section 1798.3.
<br /> • Data Breach: Any access, destruction, loss, theft, use, modification or disclosure of Data
<br /> by an unauthorized party or that is in violation of Contract terms and/or applicable state or
<br /> federal law
<br /> • Documentation: The term "Documentation" shall mean, with respect to any particular
<br /> items:(i)all of the written,printed,electronic,or otherwise formatted materials that relate to
<br /> such items,or any component thereof;(ii)all user,operator,system administration,technical,
<br /> training,support,and other manuals and all other written,printed,electronic,or other format
<br /> materials that represent, demonstrate, explain or describe the functional, operational or
<br /> performance capabilities of such items; and (iii) all specifications, materials, flow charts,
<br /> notes,outlines,manuscripts, writings,pictorial or graphical materials,schematics,and other
<br /> documents that represent, demonstrate,explain or describe such items.
<br /> • CSRI mapping: (Environmental Systems Research Institute) is an international supplier of
<br /> geographic information system (GIS) software, web GIS and geodatabase management
<br /> applications.
<br /> • Geo-coding:Provide geographical coordinates corresponding to(a location).
<br /> • Geo-targeting/targeted: The practice of delivering content to a user based on his or her
<br /> geographic location.
<br /> • IIuman Error: Any action or inaction on the part of a Contractor's employee or agent that
<br /> prevents the accomplishment of the goods'/services' intended functions and the services
<br /> specified in the Scope of Work,
<br /> • IPAWS:kEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System(IPAWS)is an internet-based
<br /> capability that federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial authorities can use to issue critical
<br /> public alerts and warnings.
<br /> • Notification: A communication distributed to the public and internal respondcrsi'relevant
<br /> personnel that contains important,timely,accurate, and accessible information regarding an
<br /> actual or potential emergency or incident, including the cause, size and current situation
<br /> thereof; .resources committed and response status of the emergency management
<br /> organization; and other matters of general interest to the public, responders, and additional
<br /> stakeholders(both directly affected and indirectly affected). Categories of notification may
<br /> include: update,alert, advisory,activation,watch or warning.
