Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by the <br />funded program, named above, during the 12 -month contract period. <br />832 Persons <br />II. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Only the <br />viewame space win print. <br />Type in description here. <br />Goal #1: To increase the level of interaction of families in positive recreation and volunteer activities. <br />Objective: Six Family PRIDE Clubs, including 208 families and 832 members will plan and implement recreation <br />activities. The family members will participate in 11 major city -wide events including: Family Picnic; Family <br />Campout; Madison Park Walk- A -Thon & Resource Fair; Youth Expo /Parent Conference; Christmas Dinner; Rubber <br />Boot Race; Multicultural History Parade; Ceasar Chavez Parade & Community Fair; Arts & Craft Competition; <br />Health & Fitness Fair; and the Mother's Day Celebration. These events will provide family bonding, meaningful <br />family recreation, and community integration activities. <br />Objective: Fifty families will complete 750 hours of volunteer service. Parents will engage in community services <br />projects as volunteers at program fundraisers, recreation center activities, and neighborhood association <br />projects. <br />Goal #2: To provide positive alternatives to gang involvement for pre -teens and teens. <br />Objective: Fifty teens will participate in recreation and volunteer activities with 25 teens completing a total of <br />500 hours of volunteer services. The teens will assist with the development and implementation of city -wide <br />Family PRIDE Club activities, After School Recreation Center programs and the annual Talent Show. <br />Objective: Fifteen students will participate in a kayaking program with the top 10 to 12 students participating in the Kayal <br />Team. <br />Schedule of Performace <br />Estimate the number of ONLY unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12- <br />month contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
