FOR <br />ADULT CROSSING GUARD PROGRAM <br />CITY MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />^ As Recommended <br />^ As Amended <br />^ Ordinance on 151 Reading <br />^ Ordinance on 2"d Reading <br />^ Implementing Resolution <br />^ Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to renew the <br />attached agreement with All City Management Services, Inc. for the Adult <br />Crossing Guard Program for an additional one-year term, in an amount not to <br />exceed $815,764, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On March 5, 2007, Council approved a one-year agreement with All City <br />Management Services, Inc. (ACMS), to staff the Adult Crossing Guard Program <br />per the requirements specified in a Request for Proposal. The Adult <br />Crossing Guard Program ensures safe pedestrian movement of children around <br />elementary schools within Santa Ana. The Police Department's evaluation <br />over the past year has determined that ACMS has met all the requirements of <br />the agreement. Staff recommends a one-year renewal of this agreement as <br />the consultant has performed satisfactorily during the previous agreement <br />period. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Police Department, Traffic Division, Other <br />Contractual Services account (no. 11-333-6291). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />i~ ~ ~~ <br />/// ~_ <br />Paul M.
