Box 1988 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92702 <br />Attn: Jerry Jeffries <br /> <br />Re: Bus Stop Shelter - Sunflower Plaza <br />North of Sunflower Ave on Bristol St (NEe) <br /> <br />Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> <br />After reviewing the Agreement between The City of Santa Ana ("City") and Eller Media <br />Company ("Grantee") for the Provision for Bus Shelters and Bus Benches dated December 8, <br />2000, (the "Agreement") I have the following questions with regard to the bus shelter and bus <br />bench on our property: <br /> <br />I. Pursuant to Section 6 ShelterlBench Maintenance and Repair, Grantee is to maintain, <br />repair, clean, and service the surrounding 20 feet of all shelters in a safe, clean, <br />attractive, well-painted and sanitary condition. What is the specific schedule for <br />maintenance, clean-up and trash removal (required twice each week by the <br />Agreement) and for steam cleaning (required twice each year by the Agreement)? <br /> <br />2. Per Section 6, Grantee shall repair, remove or replace damage, vandalism, Or graffiti <br />within 24 hours of notification by the City. What is the procedure to report <br />vandalism, graffiti, trash, etc., where each bus shelter and bench are located? <br /> <br />I have enclosed copies of several photographs taken at the bus stop on our property showing the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. Damage to the grass within 20' around the bus shelter by foot traffic and abandoned <br />carts, causing the grass to stop growing; <br /> <br />2. Damage to an electrical box within 20' around the bus shelter; <br /> <br />3. Damage to two trees where branches have been broken off; <br /> <br />4. Graffiti on light pole; and <br /> <br />S. Graffiti on back of bus shelter. <br /> <br />I have also enclosed a copy of a picture taken showing efforts to cover up the graffiti, which <br />are inadequate. <br /> <br />Albert B.
