For routine repairs, the Fleet <br />Maintenance Division maintains a parts inventory in its warehouse. <br />For parts needed infrequently and for specialized repairs, fleet contracts <br />with manufacturer-authorized service and equipment shops. Haaker Equipment <br />Company is the authorized Southern California repair and equipment shop for <br />two specialized categories of large apparatus owned by the City, the Elgin <br />Street Sweepers and the Vactor Sewer trucks.
