;,j,zj'�'JAzE NOT ON FILE <br />WORK MAY NOT PROCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCILS <br />DATE. i a <br />D C (a� <br />C,C,6- ,s <br />AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT <br />N-2005-067-01 <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT is entered into on October 28, 2008, <br />by and between the Girl Scout Council of Orange County, a non-profit organization ("Tenant') <br />and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing under <br />the Constitution and laws of the State of California ("Landlord"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into that certain Lease Agreement N-2005-067, dated February 17, 2005, <br />(hereinafter "Lease Agreement') by which Tenant has leased office space in the Corbin <br />Family Resource Center. <br />B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the lease terminated on April <br />30, 2008, however the Tenant has continued to occupy the premises with the consent of the <br />Landlord. <br />C. The parties wish to record their agreement to continue the terms and conditions of said Lease <br />Agreement on a month to month basis, for up to an additional one year period. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Lease Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment <br />to Lease Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 3, TERM OF LEASE, shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: <br />"The term of this Lease shall be for three (3) years, commencing on the first (1') day of <br />May 2005, and ending on the thirtieth (30'h) day of April, 2008. Thereafter, the Lease <br />shall continue on a month-to-month basis for up to one additional one-year period, <br />through April 30, 2009. Said month-to-month tenancy may be terminated upon thirty <br />days written notice by either party." <br />2. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />H <br />H <br />
