Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $2,824,800. <br />DISCUSSION <br />This project is part of the City's $100 million investment to rebuild <br />neighborhood streets throughout the City. Segments of local streets <br />located within the Artesia Pilar Neighborhood have been identified as a <br />high priority for rehabilitation in the City's pavement management <br />system (Exhibit 1}. The pavement is deteriorating due to weather, age <br />and heavy usage. Some of the adjacent curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross <br />gutters and wheelchair ramps are also in various states of disrepair and <br />require replacement. <br />The project provides for recycling of existing asphalt pavement with the <br />cold-in-place process, construction of asphalt concrete overlay, <br />construction of cement treated base, and replacement of damaged concrete <br />curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and curb ramps. Bid alternate one provides <br />for re-establishing the survey monuments.
