14. Participant Incentives: <br />CLAMA estimates that all 10 Santa Ana participants will require incentives in order <br />to reward and promote perfect attendance, increasing math/reading scores by two <br />grade levels, obtaining their GED, High School diploma, credential, jobs that pay <br />more than minimum wage, and/or completing two semesters of college work. <br />The incentives range from computer USB storage devices, blank CDR's and DVD's, <br />to various class/learning-related items such as gift cards or movie tickets, etc. Each <br />participant will be eligible to receive incentives a maximum of twice per each 8 -week <br />session and throughout the 4 -levels of class offered/per calendar year. <br />10 students@ $24.50/per student= $245.00/per year. <br />15. Professional Fees: <br />CLAMA/RYTMO will utilize the professional services of a Certified Public <br />Accountant, and other specialized professional services related to the Santa Ana <br />grant funding. The total estimated costs for this expense are $1000.00/per year. <br />16.Matched/in Kind Funds: <br />a. In -Kind Match: Project RYTMO is estimating that 10 of the 20 Mentors <br />tutors and volunteers will volunteer approximately 4 hours of time per <br />week. Their duties will range from adult mentoring to music digital <br />engineering professionals providing one-on-one instruction and life <br />skills support. Tutors will provide after-school tutoring to students who <br />require basic skills support. We will use the fair market value to place <br />a dollar amount of each of the volunteer's contribution and maintain a <br />timecard for each volunteer to track hours provided. We are estimating <br />an in-kind contribution of $18/ per hour per volunteer. 10 volunteers x 4 <br />hours per week = 40 hours/week x 4 weeks = 160 hours/month x 12 = <br />1,920 hours per year.1,920 hours x $18/hr = $34,560.00 per year of <br />in-kind match. <br />Direct Program Expense: Corporate sponsors will provide a cash <br />match of $3,000 to pay for time in a recording studio for project <br />participants in the Advanced Digital Music Technology activity. <br />Corporate sponsors will negotiate a reduced rate of $50/hour. The <br />project will pay for 60 hours of in -studio time. 60 hours x $50/hour = <br />$3,000. <br />c. Music Industry Sponsors/Donations will in-kind 75% of the cost for <br />studio use for Leadership Development & Work Experience for <br />0 <br />
