Section 421 of the Charter <br />requires the City Manager to report to the City Council quarterly on <br />the contracts entered into under his authority for information <br />purposes. The report is required to include the names of contractors <br />and the amounts of each contract. <br />Exhibit A is a listing of all purchase orders, agreements and change <br />notices entered into between October 1 and December 31, 2008 valued <br />between the amounts of $500 and $25,000. Unless included under a <br />blanket contract, the City as a general rule does not purchase goods <br />and services valued under $500 through either a purchase order or an <br />agreement.
