t ~ Responses to <br />" `~ Environmental Checklist <br />~~ <br />For CEQA Compliance <br />Analvsis: The project area is characterized as an urban area, and all runoff within the <br />project area is diverted into existing storm drain systems. As such, the project <br />area does not exhibit any riparian habitat that could be impacted by the project. <br />Likewise, there are no natural vegetation communities within the project area <br />which could be impacted by the proposed project. Therefore, impacts to riparian <br />habitat and natural vegetation communities would not occur with implementation <br />of the proposed project. <br />C. Adversely impact federally protec#ed wetlands (Including, but not limited to, <br />marsh, vernal pool, coastal, etc.) either individually or in combination with the <br />known or probable Impacts of other activities through direct removal, filling <br />hydrological interruption, or other means? <br />Findin No Impact. <br />Analvsis: The project area is characterized as an urban area, and there are no wetlands <br />(protected or otherwise) which could be impacted by the proposed project. <br />Therefore, significant impacts would not occur. <br />D. Confkct with any local policies or ordinances protecting biological resources, <br />such as tree preservation policy or ordinance? <br />Finding: No Impact. <br />Analvsis: With exception of streetscape landscaping, there are no biological resources <br />within the project area that could be impacted by the proposed construction <br />activities. Street trees are not the subject of any local policies or ordinances, and <br />the project's landscaping plan would adhere to all applicable City requirements. <br />Therefore, a significant impact would not occur. <br />V. Cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource as <br />defined in Section 15064.5? <br />Finding: No Impact. <br />Analysis: Proposed demolition activities for the existing lift station would not impact any <br />structures or resources that are of historical significance.
