COMMA on October 1, 1951 in accord*e with this <br />contract as amended effective October 19 1951, provided <br />that no allowances are to be decreas+ -d by such recal- <br />culation. "Vinal compensation" for such recalculation <br />shall be determined in accordance with Section 20024 <br />instead of Section 2002.01). <br />J. Article 6, Chapter 9, Section 21180 -6 (Providing for allow- <br />ances for survivors of members upon death before retirement) <br />to be effective NovembP_.r,.tlk- 3_960......__ . <br />8. Public Agency shall contribute to said Retirement System as <br />follows: <br />a. 4.295 percent of total salaries each month for 18 years <br />less the years elapsed between July 1, 1959 and the ef- <br />fective date of this amendment, on account of the lia.• <br />bility for prior service. <br />b. 7.931 percent of total salaries paid by Public Agency each <br />month to its employees who are and hereafter become mem., <br />bers of said Retirement System,, provided that only salary <br />earned as members of said System shall be included in said <br />total salaries. <br />c. A reasonable amount per annum, as fixed by Board to cover <br />the costs of administering said System as it affects that <br />employees of Public Agency, not including the costs of <br />special valuations or of the periodical investigation and <br />valuation required by law, provided that said amount shall <br />be determined on the basis of the number of employees of <br />Public Agency who are members on July 1 of the resnective <br />fiscal years, or with respect to the first year of parti- <br />cipti.on, on the effective date of said participation. <br />d. A reasonable amount as fixed by the Board, payable in one <br />installment as the occasions arise, to cover costs of <br />special valuations on account of employees of Public Agency, <br />and costs of the periodical investigation and valuation required <br />by law, <br />e. $5.00 per month for each employee covered under the provisions <br />of Section 21380 -6 (SM, survivors program). <br />9. Contributions required of Public Agency and its employees shall be <br />subject to adjustment by Hoard on account of amendments to the <br />State Employees, Retirement Law: and on account of experience under <br />the Retirement System, as determined by the periodical investi- <br />gation, and valuation required by said Retirement Law. <br />109 Contributions required of Public Agency and its employees shall be <br />paid by Public Agency to the Retirement System within thirty days <br />after the end of the period to which said contributions refer.
