The following phrase is added to the sentence which constitutes <br />Paragraph Number I of said agreements <br />'except such as apply only on election of a contracting <br />agency and ors not provided for herein and to all amend <br />manta to said Law herea!'ter enacted except such as by ex• <br />press provisions thereof apply only on the election of <br />contracting ageracies.m <br />B. Paragraphs 3 through lb are hereby stricken Pram said contract as <br />executed effective July 1, 1947, ar~d as amended effective October <br />1, 1951, February 1, 1954, September 1, 1956 and Ju],y 1, 1959, and <br />are hereby replaced by the following paragraphs numbered 3 through <br />10 inclusives <br />3. Raplvyees of Public agency in the following classes and groups <br />shall become members of said Retirement System except such in <br />each such class and group as are excluded by law or this agree~• <br />meat: <br />a. Local Firemen (herein referred to as Ioca1 safety members); <br />b. Loea1 Policemen (herein referred to as Local safety members); <br />c.
