Raitt Street <br />MOTION: Sarmiento <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br />SECOND: Martinez <br />Bustamante, Martinez, Sarmiento, Tinajero (4) <br />None (0) <br />Alvarez, Benavides, Pulido (3) <br />None (0) <br />Mayor Pulido, Mayor Pro Tem Alvarez, and Councilmember Benavides <br />returned to the dais. <br />Mayor Pulido assumed the Chair. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ISSUES OF PUBLIC INTEREST <br />Bob Aldrich, Assistant Executive Officer, from the Local Agency Formation Commission <br />made a presentation to the Council related to the Commission and its services; Gloria <br />Alvarado and Robert Penney addressed the Council relative to the proposed personnel <br />layoffs in the City; Tim Rush and Lucy Bateson addressed the Council relative to a <br />problem with trash "scavengers"; Laura Morfin noted that she had stepped down as the <br />chair of the Early Prevention and Intervention Commission (EPIC) and thanked <br />Councilmember Benavides for the opportunity to serve the City; Mike Tardif expressed <br />concerns related to the posting of the Council Agenda. <br />CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />90.A.
