(17) Residing in an establishment is prohibited. No person or persons shall be allowed to live, <br />reside or dwell inside the massage establishment at any time. No food of any kind shall <br />be prepared for sale or sold in the establishment. <br />(18) No interior doors maybe locked during operating hours. <br />(b) The following development and operating standards shall be applied to the operation of any <br />ancillary massage use: <br />(1) All necessary building permits shall be required for its construction. <br />(2) If an independent massage room is utilized, it must comply with the following standards: <br />(A) The door to the massage room may not have a locking mechanism and may not be <br />accessed directly from the exterior. <br />(B) Lighting shall be provided within the room at a minimum illumination of/4 foot- <br />candles. <br />(3) Ancillary uses may not have signage other than that permitted in section 41- 872(c) of the <br />SAMC. <br />(4) The use of frosted or reflective glass is not permitted, nor shall window coverings of any <br />kind be utilized to screen the interior of the business. <br />Sec. 41-1760. Applicability to other regulations. <br />The provisions of this article are not intended to provide exclusive regulation of the regulated expressive <br />business uses. Such uses must comply with any and all applicable regulations imposed in other articles of the <br />zoning code, other city ordinances and state and federal law. Should a conflict exist between the provisions of <br />this article and the provisions of other articles of chapter 41 of this Code, the provisions of this article shall <br />prevail. <br />10 <br />75C-20 <br />
