Certification <br />• Name tag required to be worn while on duty <br />• Valid California ID required to be on the premises <br />• Advertising must contain Santa Ana Permit Number <br />SAMC 22-6 -Exemptions - <br />Exempt individuals include: barbers, cosmetologists, osteopaths, acupuncturists, chiropractors <br />and other State licensed practitioners <br />Added: <br />• All persons conducting massage who are employed by an exempt individual must <br />obtain a Massage Technician Permit <br />• Massage Technicians must work under the direction and control of an exempt <br />individual, who must be physically present at the location where massage is being <br />conducted <br />• Massage Technicians cannot rent space at an exempt individuals establishment <br />• An individual who is certified pursuant to Chapter 10.5, commencing with Section 4600, <br />of Division 2 of the California Business and Professions Code, and who is practicing <br />consistent with the qualifications established by his or her certification. <br />~c°~° <br />
